What is what color is pluto?

Pluto's color is best described as a muted reddish-brown. However, it's not uniformly colored. Images from the New Horizons spacecraft revealed a diverse surface with areas of lighter and darker tones. Some regions are more reddish, while others appear brownish or even slightly orange. The reddish hues are thought to be due to the presence of tholins, complex organic molecules formed by the interaction of sunlight with methane and nitrogen ices on Pluto's surface. The overall color is darker than many other icy bodies in the outer solar system.
